JARR

JARR consists of four members: Harrison Howe (drums), Jhaz Lewis (lead guitar), Kade Lowe (bass), and Hunter Casey (vocals/rhythm guitar). The band began in June 2024, initially performing at various house gigs while developing their original material. Their music blends modern grunge, post-hardcore, and shoegaze influences. After playing an open mic at Solbar, they were offered an opening slot just two weeks later. With fresh material up their sleeves, they plan to release several singles followed by an album in the coming months.

KALATONE

Hailing from South-East Queensland, KALATONE are a four-piece band formed out of a mutual respect for meaty riffs, propulsive drums and soaring vocals to bring their own personal sound to progressive rock and metal. Poised to release their debut EP in 2025, they have developed a set of songs ranging from ethereal soundscapes, through banging riffs, to brutal all out aural assaults. In the modern musical landscape of synthetic sounds and digital manipulation, KALATONE are bringing back the sound of post-grunge rock and progressive metal delivered with honesty and authenticity. They revel in being truthful artists and musicians so you wont find any amp modelling, auto-tune or sampled sounds here.

KALATONE are fronted by highly versatile vocalist Tim Pitchford - a studio session legend with comparisons to Chris Cornell, and rounded out by guitarist Gavin Storkey (Under NZ) and his three headed amplifier monster, Adrian Russo with a Bass Guitar sound thats both as melodic as it is devastating and drummer Dave Kemp bringing the propulsive energy to this music.

videocouch

SEVEN DUDES, ALT-ROCK FUSION, BRISBANE.

Originally formed in 2020, 'videocouch,' is a beautiful melting pot of collaged sounds that collide and juxtapose but also blend and work together in harmony, that feel uncomfortable and confronting but yet warm and welcoming. This is the "alt-rock fusion," sound, defined by its dna make up of alternative rock inspired songwriting, intertwined with classical and jazz influenced arrangements and instrumentation.

yours to keep

From the vibrant shores of Coolangatta on Australias Gold Coast emerges Yours To Keep, a band thats redefining the music scene with a bold blend of surf rock and genre-fluid styles.

At the heart of this dynamic female-fronted four-piece is Danni, a lead singer whose raw energy and rock star charisma captivate audiences. Born from a shared passion for live performances and an innate drive for musical creation, Yours To Keep authentically echoes the experiences of growing up. With dreamy guitars and ethereal harmonies, their sound is a vivid diary of teenage life.

Since their impactful debut in late 2023 with the single Baby, the bandfueled by Dannis spirited leadershiphas drawn inspiration from the electrifying performances of groups like Teenage Dads, Spacey Jane, The Grogans, and Hockey Dad, quickly gaining a reputation for their heartfelt, high-energy live shows.

Now, with their eyes set on evolution, Yours To Keep is diving headfirst into heavier territory. Taking cues from the gritty, emotionally charged sounds of WAAX, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, and Ruby Fields, the band is embracing a grungier edgeproving theyre not afraid to shake things up and show every side of who they are.
