For string players of all ages 3rd grade AMEB and above. No previous improvisation experience necessary!

An easy and fun way to learn improvisation and play together in a group setting with a relaxed approach. Learn how to play and improvise in blues, jazz, rock, folk, world music, classical and ambient styles, as well as a huge range of sounds, tonalities and beats from many world cultures. We utilise all your classical training and show you how to channel that into your improvisation. No previous improvisation experience, theory or study necessary to fully participate and enjoy this workshop and what it has to offer.
