Having shared the stage with music legends such as Cold Chisel, Jimmy and Mahalia Barnes, The Sleepy Jackson and Marcia Hines, Bek is no stranger to the spotlight.

Renowned for her powerful vocals and magnetic performances, Bek Jensen draws inspiration from Soul, Funk and contemporary Blues, captivating audiences with her authentic sound and heartfelt lyrics.

Bek grew up immersed in a family of musicians, surrounded by live music from an early age. Her mother is famous singer and TV personality Shauna Jensen - a cast member of Australia's Jesus Christ Superstar who has sung with everyone from INXS and Powderfinger to Hugh Jackman and toured nationally with the Long Way to the Top concert tour. Beks own career began at just 16 years of age, performing alongside her mum at the iconic Kings Cross venue, Springfields.

Bek has played major festivals throughout New South Wales and Victoria and toured internationally, notably in Japan. She has recorded and released three albums, her latest the acclaimed ENERGY.

This year Bek released a brand new single Hot Summer Sun, which Beat magazine reviewed saying: This single demonstrates Beks commitment to crafting songs that transcend typical pop formulas, while maintaining their immediate appeal. Hot Summer Sun is a politically charged fusion of Soul and Funk in fact, a Funk-laden commentary on climate change. The new track showcases Bek Jensens evolution from her teenage beginnings to her current position as a multi-faceted artist.

Bek wrapped up a successful 2024 singing backup for Cold Chisel on their monumental 50th Anniversary Tour. She is one of the best female artists to ever climb onto the national stage and is this year returning to the solo spotlight with her own tour... which (how lucky are we?!!) is taking in Eastern Lounge at The Bally. Opening the show is a local group who describe themselves as ... an Alternative-Indie-Surf-Rock band from Manly. Were six teenagers wedged neatly into the bodies of 50-somethings, defying the perception that new music only comes from the young.

Goldfish Smarts play original songs that uniquely blend powerful vocals, intricate guitar riffs, a dynamic rhythm section and a touch of Bluesy harp. The band has released a live album, two EPs and 12 singles, comprising 23 songs in all. They have five songs on Spotify, which have garnered over 15,000 streams.

Goldfish Smarts prides itself on performing energetic live shows and have built a strong following on the northern beaches and beyond. This a band with the ability to seamlessly genre-hop to create a dynamic, authentic sound.
