Bill Barber and The Holding Cell return to Geelong for a blues extravaganza to support the launch of their new album "Southern Redemption" at The Barwon Club on Friday 12th December joined by local legends the Maskell Love Band.

Their new album Southern Redemption is a gritty, soulful blend of blues rock and southern storytelling, showcasing the bands raw energy and emotional depth.

Released in 2025, Southern Redemption marks a powerful chapter in the evolution of Australian blues artist Bill Barber and his band, The Holding Cell. The album is steeped in southern rock and blues influences, delivering a sound thats both classic and contemporary. It features 10 tracks, including standout titles like Blood & Gold, Hard to Breathe, Vitriol & Champagne, and Scorched Earth
