Coming off the back of our shows in July we felt compelled to offer you a once off special event, BLOODFIRE, round 2. You know we are 100 percent on black and brown non-linear time and the music needed to cook a little longer, but come November, it's gonna be READY.
Presenting an hour-long set of new, unreleased music years in development. In the last show, we took you to church, the moshpit and another realm...and now we are ready to do it again! If you were at our last gig in July, you already know, and if you werent...you dont want to miss out again

BLOODFIRE is a clapback to the colony, illuminating the realities of resilience and resistance the rage, grief, hardship, and the immeasurable power that comes from their transmutation. A reclamation of self, our people, our essence, power and mana.
Sonically, BLOODFIRE travels through everything from booming kicks and strings to conch shells and deep, distorted basslines. Think high-energy mutated drum sounds, and vocals contain echoes from all across Oceania. The EP is at once intense, emotive, futuristic and ancient. Above all, it carries the voice of the diaspora in its message: we are still here.
BLOODFIRE is the new soundtrack to these unprecedented, dystopian times; the anthem for your protest, the flame in your torch. This is FAMILIs call for an uprising, fueled by love
Acknowledgement of Country
We acknowledge the sacred lands, seas and communities we exist among, across the continent. We are located across Wurundjeri, Boonwurrung, Kaurna and Whadjuk Noongar country. We pay deep respect to all elders past and present and those emerging. Sovereignty has never been ceded, treaties have never been signed. We stand in solidarity with mob fighting for justice and self-determination across the country. The Northcote Social Club is located on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung country.
Accessibility
The venue is wheelchair accessible, has accessible parking and toilets. There will be seating available at the front and we ask for everyone to be mindful of access to viewing the stage. The show will not include strobes, Small amounts of haze will be used on stage. Ear Plugs are available at the bar on request. We ask people to not come if they have a cold or flu and recommend masking to keep our vulnerable audience safe. We will have an air purifier on stage for FAMILI who will not be masked. We will have a large air purifier at the back of the venue (where there is power source in a safe area).
