Welcome to a warm night of odd songs. These songs explore the strange cracks in existence where unconscious desires, unbidden awareness and all sorts of colourful animals jive and jitter together.  Prepare to connect with people in odd ways.  Prepare to be changed.  Prepare to be odd.

Creature Jones (MELB):

Creature Jones' songs describe a nocturnal world where its denizens live out intense situations: two exotic dancers on an existential road trip from Adelaide to Cairns; a DJ doesnt want to live; an errant husband gets his guts splattered all over the Mirror Room in a shooting; a thug fights to be a better man.

Alice Chance: Choir Practice (SYD)

Alice Chance is a sought-after composer, conductor, singer, artist, arranger, writer and educator. She is fortunate enough to work with all kinds of musicians and artists spanning contemporary classical music, choral music, musical theatre, theatre, and sound art. Her music often has a playful twist, and its very important to her that listeners and performers feel welcome within it. You can often find Alice asking audiences contribute to her music with their phones, voices, imaginations, or all three.  Tonight will be no exception.

Boroky (SYD):

Boroky is an experimental pop artist blending poetic truths, lo-fi high-narrative videos, and baroque compositional techniques. Drawing from psychology, philosophy, and childhood play, Borokys music aims humbly at nothing less than redemption. With a voice like Jeff Buckley for the internet age, and a mind trained in both music and science, Boroky offers serious play, intense honesty, and personal transformation through song. He has been a source of confusion and emotional transformation in Sydney for several years now and has no intention of desisting.
