Bulcock Street Music Festival Brings Community-Focused Indie, Punk & Hardcore to Caloundra

Caloundra, QLD 6 September 2025 This September, Bulcock Street will erupt with sound as the Bulcock Street Music Festival kicks off its debut year. A fresh chapter for the local music scene, the festival celebrates punk, hardcore, and indie-alternative sounds, all rooted in youth culture, community, creativity, and connection. And yes its going to be loud.

Right in the heart of Caloundras town centre, the festival unites 10 local and Brisbane-based bands for a full day of live music. Its all-ages, powered by local businesses, and built by people who live and breathe the scene.

Were building something for the scene, by the scene, says Al Jones, festival director and owner of Bulcock Street Bazaar. Spaces for grassroots music festivals are getting harder to find so we made one ourselves, right here in Caloundra.
