Baby Cool: Baby Cool released her debut album Earthling on the Road to Self Love in February 2023 via Virgin Music (Aus/NZ), Levitation / Greenway Records (US), and Fuzz Club / Bad Vibrations (EU/UK). A lush and expansive record, it was met with strong support across community radio and press named Album of the Week by 4ZZZ, featured on the RRR Soundscape, and playlisted by RAGE, FBI, PBS, 2SER and RTRFM. The Guardian highlighted Baby Cool in its Best New Music column, while NME named her an artist to watch in 2023.
Following a debut appearance at BIGSOUND in 2022, Baby Cool supported Babe Rainbow and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, before heading to the UK for a co-headline tour with Nice Biscuit, including slots at The Great Escape and Wide Awake Festival. She has since opened for Thee Sacred Souls, Allah Las, and Blonde Redhead.
Lake Kelly: Lake Kelly is a Vietnamese/Australian harpist and artist currently based in the Northern Rivers. Captivated by the mystique of the harp from a young age, she built her own 36-string lever harp in 2021, forging a deep connection to its craftsmanship and voice. Her music blends ethereal harp melodies with vintage pedals, live loops, and field recordings, to create reflective soundscapes that draw upon the elemental forces of nature and sentiments of the heart. She has performed for institutions including GOMA (QLD), the MCA (Sydney), HOTA (Gold Coast), and recently completed an art residency at Chateau Orqueveux in France.
Clea: A true hands-on artist, Clea is involved in every aspect of her creative process, production, visuals, and styling, ensuring a fully immersive world for her audience. Clea draws inspiration from musicians who push the boundaries of pop, as well as local artists and fashion designers forging their own paths. This independent, fearless approach is reflected in her work, where music and visuals intertwine create a transportive experience.
Cleas music is deeply influenced by the natural world and the rhythm of a slower, more intentional way of living. She finds inspiration in the cycles of the moon, the wildlife that surrounds her home and studio, and the creative energy that fuels her work. Cleas songs often have a mantra-like quality, inviting moments of reflection and connection.
Filmmaker: Levi Cranston Levi Cranston is an Australian filmmaker born in the far North Australian shores during a 90s Aries moon phase. His work derives inspiration from the original magicians of cinema, practical effects, and analogue filmmaking techniques. His most recent 16mm project was locally hand developed in a sink as a negative print, which he printed as an interpositive in order to hand splice a final cut together so it could be projected for a live performance. He has completed over twenty works on motion picture film stock, mostly music videos.
