Central Coast Heat - Australian National Busking Championship

Join us for the Central Coast Heat of the Australian National Busking Championship on Sunday Sep 28, 2025! Get ready to witness talented street performers from all over the country showcasing their skills in an exciting competition.

The event will take place at Marine Parade, The Entrance, NSW 2261. The stunning coastal location will provide the perfect backdrop for a day filled with music, entertainment, and fun.

For musicians of all ages, skill levels and musical genres, you'll be amazed by the diverse range of acts that will grace the stage. Whether you're a music enthusiast or simply looking for a great day out, this event is not to be missed! Great cash prizes to be won!

Performers need to book a ticket in one of the following categories to register:

Adult (18+ years),

Secondary (13 - 17 years) or

Primary (under 13 years)

Competition takes place between 10 am and 2.30 pm. Competitors will be stationed around Memorial Park and the Plaza of The Entrance and will perform a succession of half hour spots in different localities. They will be judged by three judges, but also by a popular public vote. To vote for your favorites to get through to the award concert, you can buy voting tokens on the day during the competition.

The finale concert will be held from 3.30 to 4.30pm on the day, at Memorial Park stage during which winners will be announced. This is the Central Coast Region's heat for the Australian National Busking Championships. Winners of each category will be eligible to compete in the national titles.

We were delighted when last years winner of the Junior section, Belle Norman, also won the National Championships later in the year!

Entry for the public is free. Soak in the atmosphere and support local artists. Organised by your local Rotary Club of Erina, dedicated to bringing life back into our community!

Terms and Conditions:

• All performers must be registered and have their registration tag clearly displayed.
• All performers must hold a valid Central Coast Council Busking Approval Card obtained from Central Coast Council Busking permits | Central Coast Council
• Competitors are required to comply with the Central Coast Busking Guidelines including having only battery-operated amplification
• As this event is family friendly the organizers reserve the right to exclude any performances that may be deemed offensive to a general audience.
• Volume Levels* must conform to any direction given by the event organizers or officials.
• Performers who wish to be eligible for prizes must be available to perform in the afternoon Finals Concert on Sunday 28 September 2025
• Any images or video taken during this event may be used by the event organizers for future promotions.
• Performers contact details may be shared with the organizers of other ANBC Inc sanctioned events.
• All performers will be responsible for their own public liability insurance.
• All the decisions of the judges are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

As a performer you will be required to consent to these upon registration.
