A rare chance to catch one of Japans most talked-about jazz trios - live at Rosny Barn for one night only.
Banksia Trio brings together three of Tokyos most sought-after players: bassist Takashi Sugawa, pianist Masaki Hayashi, and drummer Shun Ishiwaka. Known for their dynamic sound and sharp improvisation, the trio creates bold, cinematic jazz thats both technically fearless and full of feeling.
Theyve shared stages with Gretchen Parlato, played Blue Note Tokyo, and are heading to Rosny Barn fresh from their Australian debut at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival.
Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm-9pm show.
