Close Friends with Emerauld & Liz Belongs in Cairo

Close Friends is a 7-part band that takes inspiration from the worlds of pop, folk, and indie. Initially the brainchild of Charli Schulz, one of our 3 lead vocalists, who wanted to create music with a focus on rich vocal harmonies and lush instrumentation. Since forming, we have found inspiration in writing about our shared experiences as queer, and neurodivergent people. Telling stories of mental illness, hardship, friendship, and love in a way that will hopefully bring people "closer" together.
