Luciano Nakata Albuquerque, better known as Curumin, is a highly acclaimed singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Brazil. With a career spanning over 20 years, Curumin has earned recognition both in Brazil and internationally for his innovative fusion of genres like samba, funk, jazz, and electronica. His 2017 album Boca was nominated for a Latin Grammy and won the APCA Award for Best Album. Curumins discography also includes Arrocha (2012), Japan Pop Show (2008), and Achados e Perdidos (2003).
Known for his dynamic drumming, Curumin has collaborated with major Brazilian artists such as Criolo, Ceu, Paula Lima, and Arnaldo Antunes. In 2020, he released the single and music video Purpuras.
