Get ready to stomp your feet, shake your hips, and feel the groove because the Downunder Cigar Box Festival is hitting Portland, NSW for two unforgettable days of gritty, foot-stomping, homemade music magic!

Pack your most loved flannelette shirt, and head to Portland this September for a weekend of pure, unplugged, cigarbox guitar-fueled fun where you can get amongst the foot stomping action up close and personal with your favourite players or chill by the open fire in an atmosphere, where everyone is ya mate!

This is not just a festival its a movement. And its just getting started.

WHERE IS IT HELD?

Just over two hours drive west of Sydney, Portland (at the historic, Coronation Hotel), part of the gateway to the Central West and is located between Oberon, Mudgee, Bathurst, Lithgow, and the Blue Mountains. It is a short drive from both the Great Western and Castlereagh Highways. It is accessed from the Great Western Highway via Wallerawang.

Lithgow Buslines operate return services from Lithgow Station. Trainlink also provide coach services between Lithgow and Gulgong via Portland.

The Coronation Hotel - Food and Drink

Renowned for its hearty, freshly made pub fare, the bistro serves up crowd-pleasers like hand-crumbed chicken schnitzel, generous steaks and Pizzas that even Mario would be proud of! Vegetarian options and fabulous coffee, mean there's something for everyone!

Warm up by the open fires and enjoy live music and friendly banter that The Coro is known for! The hotels bar offers a selection of cold ales, wines and spirits. They support local distilleries and breweries, like Reckless Brewery, the perfect to accompaniment for this live music experience!
