Emerging Mornington Peninsula songwriter Emily Jane Pritchard invites you to celebrate the release of her debut EP, Never Ending Holiday. The four-track collection of guitar-driven indie-folk carries songs straight from the heart, decorated with touches of soul and pop, and delivered with a voice that drifts seamlessly between heartachingly sweet and ruggedly raw. Produced by James Seymour (Merpire, Mathilde Anne), Pritchards debut single quickly climbed to #2 on the AMRAP Metro Charts, while follow-up Sorry Sam drew praise on Triple J Unearthed.
After winning the Roddy Read Songwriting Award at the 2024 Maldon Folk Festival, anticipation has been steadily building for this launch, with Pritchard carving out a path through intimate showcases and support slots throughout the year. The evening begins with a stripped-back acoustic set of new songs alongside old favourites, before the EP is brought to life with a full band. With special guest Angus Robb opening the show, expect a night of storytelling and song some tear-jerkers, some foot-stompers, and above all, genuine connection.
