Emily Joy | Sgt Hulka | Shanks Pony | HDC, A Forever 18 Mini-Fest
FOREVER 18 is the second fundraising event by charitable group Ambys Army who are raising funds and awareness for youth suicide prevention.
Established in 2025, the group honours the memory of Amberly Lynch, who tragically lost her battle with mental health at just 18 years old. Amberly was an inspiring musician/artist who brought friends and family together for her last performance on her 18th birthday.
Ambys Army intends to keep her spirit alive by presenting musical performances with proceeds going to the Ambys Army fund for youth mental health.
Join us for an unforgettable festival of sounds ranging from Country/Pop, Contemporary Soul & Blues, Folk/Rock and Electronica. This years incredible lineup of artists are:
Emily Joy
From Perth to London, Nashville to Tamworth, Emily has graced stages globally honing her craft and soaking up inspiration everywhere. Dont be fooled by the blonde hair and blue bambi eyes. This WAAPA and Berklee graduate has an unparalleled work ethic and lengthy list of accolades under her belt. After the release of her chart topping single Barricade, Emily Joy became a grand finalist in the prestigious Toyota Star Maker competition. This was swiftly followed with a West Australian country music award and tour with Adam Brand. Most recently Emily took the mainstage at the Muster, lighting up the festival stage alongside Morgan Evans and Travis Collins.
Emilys radiant pop/country style merges heartfelt storytelling with modern energy. Her relatable and approachable nature has amassed her substantial following of over 130,000 people and 4 million online views.
Sgt Hulka
Fusing vintage sounds with a contemporary attitude, The Sarge in Charge is a force that commands your attention. The two-time WAM Song of the Year nominee (23 & 24) and WAM award nominee (best keys/synth player 23 & 25) has blended her love of soul and blues into a unique blend of impressive piano chops and badass vocals.
Shanks Pony
Shanks Pony was formed in 2005 and released their debut CD, A Year in a Pub, at Clancys Fish Pub Fremantle in June 2007. Soon after, they landed a Saturday night residency at Fenians Irish Pub, which ran for nearly a decade. The band continued to perform at various venues until March 2020. After a 5-year break Shanks Pony returned in 2025 with Pete Varcoe and Todd Lynch (Amberlys dad) who have reinvigorated the upbeat folk/rock sound, playing all the classic Shanks Pony tunes you know and love.
HDC
HDC, an emerging electronica artist, has quickly made a name for herself in the music scene.  From songwriting to synths, HDC is carefully sculpting every section. Invigorating bass, syncopated percussion, and layers of infectious harmonies craft the perfect seat for her rich vocals.
With her explosive live performances and electrifying energy, HDC continues to captivate audiences near and far.
Whether Spotify or a stage, she holds it in the palm of her hand.
Doors open at 5pm with HDC on stage shortly after.
