To celebrate the release of their latest EP Real Enough, Favoured State are bringing their raw and defiant brand of post-punk caught between defiance and desperation to the Bergy Bandroom on Friday October 31st.
With Real Enough, Favoured State delivers a ferocious five-track statement that cuts through digital fog, existential fatigue, and systemic rot with relentless post-punk urgency. It isnt simply background noise - its a reckoning. Gritty, emotionally raw, and unflinchingly direct, Real Enough is the sound of a band dragging modern contradictions into the open and setting them ablaze.
The EP grapples with life in a world where everything is monetised, monitored, and manipulated. Identity, labor, and dissent are shown as products of design - shaped by capitalism, media, and control. The lyrics confront the commodification of the self, burnout cycles, and the distortion of truth through technology.
Supporting the band are local talent Hannah Kate, and Mature Themes.
