Gift Horse is a Melbourne/Naarm based trio, featuring Hector Harley on saxophone, Monty Shnier on double bass, and Conor Anderson-Vague on drums. This trio is dedicated to reimagining jazz standards through their own unique arrangements. With a wide range of influences and musical experiences, Gift Horse focuses on rhythmic and melodic interplay to achieve collective improvisation in a chordless trio format.
