Formed in Melbourne, Australia, Quarter Street brings a hefty, gritty, hard-edged approach to salsa, staying true to the hard-out analog era Latin music that defined the genres golden age. Their percussive drive, bold brass, and commanding Spanish-language vocals ignite dance floors, capturing the soulful urgency that made salsa dura a global force.
Their self-titled debut album earned international acclaim and was recognized as Best Global Album by Music Victoria.
