A group of Naarm-based musicians, DJs, and artists are joining forces for a one-night-only fundraiser at the Bergy Bandroom in Brunswick to provide urgent mutual aid to families in Gaza. The event will feature live performances, DJ sets, and artwork for sale,
with 100% of proceeds going to the Sameer Project, an initiative delivering essential food and aid directly to people on the ground. Donations are also encouraged.
This stacked line-up brings together some of the most compelling acts from across the local scene and beyond.
Sleepazoids Nette France will strip things back for a solo set, offering a different take on the bands distinct blend of grunge, shoegaze, and post-punk.
Naarm artist
Gloomie will perform her intimate and honest blend of dream pop & shoegaze with a full band. Rising four-piece
GUSH are set to bring their fusion of 90s guitar-driven power and emo-pop hooks, while South Australian band
Twine headline with their genre-bending noise rock and country, following the release of their debut album
New Old Horse.
Closing out the night, none other than
Fan Girl will deliver a rare and unpredictable DJ set and Naarm's newest local favourite
HYFE will be spinning bangers throughout the night. Alongside the music, local artists will present work for sale, with every contribution helping provide direct aid to families in Gaza.
This is more than a gig, its a night of community, solidarity, and support through music and art.
