James Reyne: Fall Of Crawl - Celebrating 40 Years Since The Derailment of Australian Crawl
Friday 23 January | Prince Bandroom, St Kilda JAMES REYNE FALL OF CRAWL
Everything has a beginning, a middle and an end after some fashion or other; and to THAT end,
all things must pass.
And so it came to be that Australian Crawl, after its fashion, in February 1986, came to and end.
It was a wrap. It was time. A wind-up. A sign-off. A relief. A joy. Funny. Sometimes slightly sad
but resolute. A swan-song. A kiss-off; a sign-off; under the belt, on the wagon and headed for the
barn.
Put to bed, wiped up, wiped out, cleaned up, mopped up, polished and polished off.
That was all folks, that was all she ever wrote.
Well...
Next year, 2026, we celebrate The Fall Of Crawl.
So were taking the songs out for a COMMEMORATIVE run around the country.
Its everything you know and love, celebrating things been and gone; and how time really does
fucking FLY!
