With a voice that holds the weight of vulnerability and the pulse of euphoria, Jordan Anthony is emerging as one of pop musics most emotionally resonant new voices. Born in Australia and now based in Los Angeles, Jordans music fuses intimate, soul-baring songwritingwith slick, arena-ready pop a sound he describes as ballads that move. Whether hes reflecting on heartbreak or falling headfirst into a crush, Jordans music captures moments that feel real, raw, and wildly relatable.
Jordans journey into music began as a lifeline. He wrote his first song at age seven to cope with being bullied at school. It wasnt a hit, but it was a song, he recalls. It helped me say the things I couldnt say out loud. From that moment, he knew music would be his everything not just a passion, but a purpose. I realised I wanted to connect with people through my stories and make others feel less alone. Thats still my why to this day.
He credits his parents for laying the foundation early. Enrolled in piano lessons at age five (reluctantly at first), Jordan became self-sufficient as a musician and songwriter by his early teens. They always told me Id thank them later. They were right. With no Plan B, he pursued music with tunnel vision, and it wasnt long before the world started to notice.
In 2019, he placed in the Top 4 on The Voice Australia, then went on to represent Australia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest with his original song We Will Rise, placing eighth globally. The same year, he headlined One Big Voice at Perths RAC Arena a feat he repeated in 2022 and 2023. In 2024, Jordan was handpicked for American Idol, where he became a Top 14 finalist and won over U.S. audiences with his compelling vocals and grounded authenticity. The opportunity prompted his full-time move to Los Angeles to take his career global.
Back home in Perth to share the Summer with family and friends, Jordan is thrilled to share his new releases and old favourites for this one show only, live with his band at The Rosemount before heading back to LA.
