Ken Stringfellow, singer and co-founder of Seattle indie rock icons The Posiesand widely known for his work with R.E.M., Big Star, Lagwagon, Neil Young, and many othersreturns to Australia for the first time since 2014. He comes bearing his most personal and powerful work to date: CIRCUIT BREAKER, his fifth solo album.
At its heart, CIRCUIT BREAKER is a journey of dismantling and renewalmoving from betrayal to forgiveness, from loss to resilience, from endings to rebirth. Ultimately, its an album about how we heal.
Kens solo performances are renowned for their emotional immediacy and intimacy. Accompanied only by guitar and piano, his voice moves seamlessly from tender whispers to cathartic cries. The result is a concert that is at once powerful and vulnerable, captivating and deeply human. Alongside songs from his solo albums, Ken also revisits highlights from The Posies, Big Star, and other collaborations from his remarkable five-decade career.
