Saturday 6 September 2025 marks a massive night for LARGE MIRAGE the launch of their brand-new single Happy Now (out 28 August) and the debut of their exciting new lineup at Marrickville's Vic On The Park.
Happy Now is the bands sixth single, and its an unapologetic, 70s-infused banger crunchy guitars, a driving swung backbeat, and a classic Hammond organ in full glory. Written, recorded, and produced entirely by the bands founding duo, its a track that wears its heart on its sleeve and roars with vintage thunder.
This will be the bands first live show in ages and the first with AJ Stanton on vocals and keys. At just 19, AJ has already made waves in the local scene with her solo performances. Her soulful touch and dynamic energy are giving LGMs sound a fresh spark, while keeping the roots deep in classic vintage rock swagger. Expect a high-voltage set of new tracks, plus sensational original favourites for loyal hometown fans.
Supporting on the night are local retro rock powerhouses Necko, a trio with jaw-dropping musicianship, stadium-worthy energy, and a 70s vibe thats pure magic.
