Liquid Architecture Presents: J. X E, Aviva Endean with Pat Telfer, Third Space & Anthony Pateras, Siri Sirasith

In the fifth and final edition of the 2024 Liquid Architecture Presents series, we showcase two artists who have made significant contributions to the Naarm/Australian music landscape; Aviva Endean and Emelyne Khor.

With an ever increasing repertoire of expanded techniques and interactive approaches to music performance, Aviva Endean will present new work exploring breath, wind and the anatomy of the clarinet in relation to microphones. Avivas performance will be assisted by the proficient sound crafter and musician Pat Telfer.

J. X E, is a collaboration led by Emelyne Khor (The Blend PBS), featuring Jarrod Zlatic (Fabulous Diamonds, Line Music). The duo leans into both Emelyne and Jarrods extensive knowledge of recorded music new and old to extract a world of sounds, speculating a futuristic music with various and hybridized reference points.

Ornamenting the two key performances, Third Space and Anthony Pateras will perform in a duo together for the first time, and Siri Sirasith will open the night with recently developed work for modular synthesizer.
