A little history...
The Lizard Lounge opened in 1990 playing a mix of anything that got people moving on the dance floor from The Cult to Kylie. It didnt matter as long as it had the beat to get everyone up and moving. And it certainly did, packing out Saturday nights for over 10 years. Gradually expanding to Fridays and Thursdays (which at times rivalled the popularity of Saturdays) the Lizard often saw over a thousand happy dancers stream through the club over the weekend. From New Order to Madonna, Morrissey to the Chemical Brothers, the Pixies to the latest dance hits, the Lizard stopped all stations.
