join maira and her band as she launches her dreamy new song 'the void' alongside special guests Neish and Georgie Taylor. Expect a magical night of dream-pop, indie-rock and indie-folk performed by some of Brisbane's best emerging artists.

maira is Brisbanes dreampop songstress. Weaving sparkling reverb-soaked guitars, punchy drums, and lush airy vocals that float above the noise, maira tells stories of girlhood and growing up. Inspired by girl-rock icons like Beabadoobee, Pale Waves and Nieve Ella, she describes herself as unapologetically feminine. Her debut afterthought is an indie-rock track about loneliness and isolation, while her follow-up fuzzy captures feelings of nostalgia and longing. Her latest offering, the void, combines the grungy and dreamy elements of her earlier work into a lush and layered song about the emptiness that comes with grief. maira is making waves in the Brisbane music scene with her captivating live shows, wrapping her indie-rock-infused dreampop in a lilac bow.

Neish is an emerging singer/songwriter from Meanjin (Brisbane) Australia. After feeling as though she didnt have a voice, Neish found solace in music and re-discovered her sound through songwriting. Neish aims to captivate through her raw and vulnerable lyricism, and to develop a deeper connection of emotional intimacy with her listeners. Neish writes with a purpose that encapsulates personal and relatable experiences in a way that is sadly beautiful and authentic.

Georgie Taylor is a vibrant singer-songwriter who fuses indie, folk, soul and pop to create music that nourishes the soul, heart and mind all at once. Inspired by artists like Sammy Rae and the Friends, Joni Mitchell, Missy Higgins and Lizzy McAlpine, the Meanjin-based artist is known for captivating audiences with her honey-like vocal tone, infectious melodies and electric live performances. Her lyricism artfully weaves deep vulnerability with light-hearted wit, offering an authentic storytelling style that resonates with optimists and deep-feelers alike.
