WHAT TO KNOW
Experience getting up close to ADF platforms ranging from ADF aircraft including air combat, air mobility, and surveillance aircraft to a range of military vehicles. Watch the static displays, flypasts, and our Military Working Dogs in action through live displays on the day. Meet our people from Air Force, Army, Navy, and the wider Defence Industry who operate and support these platforms to learn about their jobs and experiences. Finally, enjoy the range of different foods from various locally sourced food vendors.
Disabled amenities are available along with limited car parking for accredited state disabled permit pass holders only.
RAAF Richmond Community Open Day is a NON-SMOKING and an ALCOHOL-FREE event.
This event will be outdoor, so please monitor the weather and bring a hat, sunscreen and water bottle. Due to low-level flypasts planned for the event and the associated loud noise, attendees are advised to bring their own hearing protection. At minimum, soft earplugs are highly advised.
The RAAF Base Richmond Community Open Day may be subject to change, or cancellation at short notice due to adverse weather conditions. Cancellation and changes will be advertised through a notification on OzTix and the Richmond Community Open Day website.
