RUMI NOWRUZ is an album of playful, spiritual and emotional music set to the poetry of mystic Rumi. Sung in a combination of English and Farsi, the album explores the sacredness of what it is to be human, encouraged by the hopeful spirit of the Persian Spring festival of Nowruz which celebrates the resilient joy of aliveness.

Inspiration for the album emerged from globally renowned spiritual teacher, author, healer and performer Alana Fairchild, after a meditative encounter with Rumi. Translations of the poetry are by Rassouli and are also featured in Alana's best-selling Rumi Oracle.
Our ensemble of gifted musicians including sound healer and vocalist Alana Fairchild, Grammy-nominee James Englund, multi-award winning producer Stewart Havill, and more, gather to bring Rumi Nowruz to life on stage.
