This week is a special ASCENT Takeover, with Araminta, ROMO and nabii stopping by for a show.
ARAMINTA is an angelic storyteller, weaving heart-wrenching journeys that leave your heart cradled in her palm. Naarm-based singer-songwriter, ARAMINTA, creates home-produced music that fuses modern feminine pop with folk influences, enriched by elements of her Greek heritage. Her soundscapes are rich with soulful vocals, intricate harmonies, flamenco rhythms, and playful, witty lyricism.
Artist, producer, mix engineer, and audio engineer, ROMOs music is as diverse and ambitious as her skillset. Like all great art-pop auteurs, ROMO links her brand of pop with a larger concept with every off kilter hook comes a deeper meaning.
nabii is a Korean-Australian producer, DJ and multidisciplinary artist crafting hyperpop inspired dance music. With a deep appreciation for story telling, she is known for her euphoric and cathartic dance floor anthems. nabii is a natural performer, using live hardware to create a truly unique experience. Shes performed at iconic Naarm venues such as Max Watts, Miscellania, The Howler and shared stages with acts like DJ Heartstring, CAIVA and more. Playing festivals like Beyond The Valley and For The Cause. nabiis mixes have been featured on platforms including, Steel City Dance Discs Rinse FM Takeover, Hanoi Community Radio, Triple Rs Mooncake and Triple Js Mix Up. With recognition in Mixmag Asias "Artists Exciting Us article and international collaborations, nabii is no stranger to weaving unique soundscapes with a global perspective.
