Southern Stars shines a spotlight on the incredible music written by Australian women. This concert is a journey through the diverse and powerful voices that have shaped our own musical landscape.

From the lush harmonies of contemporary chamber music to evocative arrangements of beloved Australian songs, Southern Stars showcases the brilliance and creativity of women composers and singer-songwriters. Featuring new commissions by West Australian composers Katherine Potter and Rebecca Clarke, vibrant reimaginings of works by the Stiff Gins, Angie McMahon and Kate Miller-Heidke, and original works by Melody Eotvos and Elena Kats-Chernin, this concert celebrates the spirit of innovation and community that defines Australian music today.

Join us for an evening of inspiring performances that bring to life the beauty, diversity, and resilience of Australian women's music. Let Southern Stars transport you through stories of place, culture, and creativity, all while highlighting the voices that continue to shape our artistic identity.
