For over 15 years, weve been building a one-of-a-kind gathering in the foothills of the World Heritage-listed Barrington Tops a celebration of music, art, nature, connection, and adventure. Held on beautiful Worimi Country, Subsonic brings together likeminded humans from all walks of life for three days of sonic exploration and sensory immersion.

From deep house and driving techno to ambient, experimental, live electronic and global rhythms the soundtrack is as diverse as the people who come. Add large-scale installations, roaming performance, interactive art, wellness spaces, and a vibrant market village, and youve got something that goes way beyond a lineup.

The Location - The grass is greener at Subsonic...

Riverwood Downs is just 3.5 hours north of Sydney, 1 hour from Newcastle and 4 hours south of Coffs Harbour. Spread across 750 acres the multi-award winning property is circled by 5km of mountain river frontage all sitting within the greater Barrington Tops that covers more than 95,000 hectares of unspoilt wilderness. And we are eternally grateful to the staff and people of both Worimi Country & Riverwood Downs for hosting us all.

Your Festival Stay

Friday - Sunday night On-site festival camping is included in your ticket price with the option to purchase add ons such as Early Entry, Glamping and other on-site options.

Camping festivals dont have to be roughing it, the festival site offers a wide range of options from the quintessential multi-day festival camping experience which we all equally love and loathe ;) But this can be elevated to river view deluxe camping in a perfect spot, as well as the option of fully set up for you glamping packages with a touch of swagger, and even an air-conditioned bunkhouse too, all as purchasable options.
