The performance will see Blokland and his band play the 1987 record in its entirety, celebrating analbum widely regarded as one of the most influential guitar releases of its era. Featuring instrumental classics including Surfing With The Alien, Satch Boogie, and Always With Me, Always With You, the show focuses on recreating the feel and spirit of the original record in a live band setting. The night will conclude with a selection of additional Satriani fan favourites.
Blokland is an established performer on the South Australian live circuit, with recent work including involvement with iconic Australian rock band The Superjesus, as well as his instrumental fusion project, The Publishers.
