Tasmania's Taste of Summer

For almost forty years, Taste has brought together the finest artisans and makers from across the island to showcase our culture, community, and world-class produce on the waterfront of Nipaluna/Hobart.

We champion our islands diversity, creativity, and the art of slow food. Every sip and every bite tells a story of Tasmanias rich lands and pristine waters. Walking through the festival space, youll encounter the people responsible for some of the best food and drink offerings in the world. 

Our island is a special place, and us Tasmanians value the art of slow food. We know good things are made with intention and care, and thats why youll encounter food thats as fresh as it gets, and wines, spirits, and brews that bear the mark of the unique land we live on here.

Golden Ticket
Your ultimate Taste experience. This all-access premium pass includes unlimited entry to the Taste and the VIP Yacht Club across all eight days, plus a ticket to the NYE Party. *Excludes access to The Yacht Club during NYE Party.

NYE Party
Bring in the new year on the waterfront with a huge lineup of live music, DJs, delicious food and drinks, and the citys best view of the fireworks. Your ticket grants entry to the NYE Party from 6pm1:30am.

Taste Pass
Savour it all. This pass grants you entry across every day of the festival, so you can experience the best of the islands food, drink and entertainment across all eight days.

Day Pass
Choose your day with this flexible pass, which grants you entry for any one day of your choice. 
Single day tickets will be available closer to the event.
Please note: Taste entry is free on Wednesday 31 December 12noon-4pm for the City of HobartCommunity Day, so no day entry ticket is required for this date.

Yacht Club Entry
Go on, treat yourself with an entry to Tastes premium waterfront Yacht Club. Enjoy exclusive access to a private seating area and bar, with Yacht Club Entry available in ticketed five-hour sessionsselect your preferred time at checkout, with any Day Pass or Taste Pass.

City of Hobart Community Day
Free entry on Wednesday 31 December from 12-4pm, in partnership with the City of Hobart. Gates reopen at 6pm for our ticketed New Years Eve event.
