Teresa Duffy-Richards is a seasoned singer/songwriter. her music is steeped in the vast traditions of Roots music, Folk, Country and Blues, and the more modern realms of Rock'n'roll, Punk and Noise Rock. Performing solo, in an acoustic duet and with 5 piece band, in all modes she delivers music that is by turns haunting and raucous, evocative and idiosyncratic. With a voice described as achingly beautiful, she draws comparisons to Sandy Denny, Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton while remaining all her own. Her richly poetic and lyrical song writing combined with her exceptional voice and musicianship has entranced audiences and seen her open for such acts as Tex Perkins and Matt Walker.
