Throughout its history, Seattle has put many loud rock bands on the map. One such band is The Accused, who fused punk with horror, gore and extreme metal in a way that had never been heard before. Theyve served as inspiration for countless extreme metal bandsThe Accused have been covered by Cannibal Corpse, Lamb of God and Municipal Waste

The 1980s punk and hardcore scenes were a breeding ground for artists and bands who were looking to do their own thing. bands and labels were popping up and releasing great new music that seemed to fall under the punk or hardcore music umbrella. In the 80s the genre of crossover was birthed with bands like D.R.I., Corrosion Of Conformity, Suicidal Tendencies and the like. One band that quickly stood out with their own brand of crossover they called Splatterrock was Seattles Accused.

Of all of the bands who have come out of the punk and hardcore scenes there isnt another bands that has ever sounded like the Accused. People havent even tried. Blaine Cooks vocal delivery is so original and such as huge aspect of the Accused sound that the band without him at the mic cant be considered the Accused.

The Accused A.D. Finally makes  its way Down to Australia in September 2025 !

The Accused Ad will be revisiting  their old catalog from  Combat , Sub Pop &  Southern Lord  in Australia  led by Former Members of The Accused Alex Sibbald and Blaine Cook  of The Fartz ( Legendary  hardcore punk band that featured Duff McKagan of Guns n Roses,  founded in 1981 Seattle &  signed to Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles Record label.
