The Essence of Sound with Marco Tesi

Addi Sounds Presents... "The Essence of Sound" with Marco Tesi. This workshop is a great opportunity to deepen your connection to sound, through vibration and frequency. Marco Tesi will explore these sacred subtleties of sound and the influence on the human body, emotions and feeling. This workshop will be held in the Stirrup Gallery, Marco will also be holding a Sound Healing Journey! This is a deep immersive experience that aims to restore back to harmony our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies through the medicine of ancestral sounds. Sound Medicine is a ritualistic space waved by the subtle-and sensible use of silence and ancestral instruments stemming from Pacific and Mediterranean cultures. Marco Tesi will facilitate a Sound Healing inspired by Nature and its elements, the spontaneity of any given moment together with the presence of the people that will create this healing container. All the layers of sound will flow intuitively and spontaneously by playing a vast array of instruments like Yidaki (Didgeridoos), Rattles and Native American flute; Andean flutes, Shamanic Drums,Rain-sticks, Antara Nazca, Vasija Silbadora,Panflutes, Mama Quenas, Abuelo Flutes,Sansula and so on.Meet our Facilitator!Marco Tesi is a facilitator of healing by helping people to integrate physical sensations and symptoms, emotions and feelings, repressed memories and repeated unconscious patterns in the wholeness of their being.

In 2013 he obtained a masters degree in Adapted and Preventive Motor Activities. After years helping people who were facing chronic pain conditions his curiosity led him to explore and work in the field of psychosomatics, to deepen the existing communication between body, emotions, psyche, breath and traumatic memories.

Marco started to research, explore and work in the relationship between posture, breathing patterns and chronic pain 15 years ago. A school that now looking back offered him the foundations to research the imprinting of emotional trauma on a biological cellular level. Now this has become his healing practice and major area of investigation.

Marco is qualified in Integrative Breathing Therapies (2018) as well as in postural respiration and myiokinematic restoration with the Postural Restoration Institute (2016).

Over the last five years he started to focus his research in the use of sound and voice for healing purposes. This led him to obtain a certification as Sound Healer with the Sound Healing Academy (2020). This opened him to explore traditional ancient ways of relating with Sound stemming from Pacific and Mediterranean cultures as well as from traditions belonging to the Sacred Valley of Peru.

Along that in 2022 he completed his training as Massage Partitioner with the Medicine Wheel centre.

He is also qualified in psychogenealogy and in the use of the geno-sociogram as a tool to bring awareness within family dynamics and in a deeper way in respect to unresolved intergenerational memories.

These days Marco offers somatic emotional healing; a therapeutic multidisciplinary practice that that merge neuroscience with ancient traditional practices.
