Datura4 return to Buffalo Club in Fremantle on Saturday, December 20th. Joining the festivities will be special guests and local heavyweights Black River Ransom, laying down their own fuzz drenched blues and rock n roll.DATURA4From the release of their debut album, Demon Blues, in 2015, Datura4, fronted by Stems main man Dom Mariani, have been on a supercharged, non-stop rock-n-roll mission of full-tilt boogie riffs, pounding drum grooves and freaked-out fuzz over the course of follow-up releases Hairy Mountain (2016), "Blessed is the Boogie" (2019), "West Coast Highway Cosmic" (2020) and Neanderthal Jam (2023) released through USA label Alive Naturalsound Records. Datura4 also features Warren Hall (ex The Drones) on drums, Stu Loasby from The Majestic Kelp on bass, Joe Grech on guitar and vocals and legendary West Australian keyboard wizard, the voodoo summoning Bob Patient.Receiving kudos from the likes of Alice Cooper and Steve Van Zandt, as well as rave reviews from publications Rolling Stone, Shindig! and Classic Rock, Datura4 have solidified their place on the local and overseas stages, having completed two extensive European tours of October 2019 and October 2023 sharing stages with the likes of The Pretty Things, ZZ Top, Kevin Borich, Tumbleweed, Jon Spencer, Hoodoo Gurus, The Cruel Sea, The Godfathers and Little Stevens Disciples of Soul.
