Join us for a special night of stories and songs as The Musicians Collective brings its celebrated community event series to the intimate underground space of Low 302.

This time, were doing things a little differently. Seed of the Song is inspired by the legendary songwriter circles of Nashville a format where four artists share the stage, each taking turns to tell the story behind a song, perform it live, and then pass the spotlight to the next.

Its a rare chance to experience music in its most honest and vulnerable form deeply personal, and rooted in the creative process. Youll hear the seeds of ideas, the moments that sparked them, and the songs they grew into.

Featuring some of Sydneys most exciting grassroots artists in electronic and genre-bending music, this is an evening for lovers of storytelling, songcraft, and the magic that happens when artists come together.

About The Musicians Collective
The Musicians Collective is a grassroots, musician-led community that supports emerging and independent artists in Australia. After sold-out events in 2024 and 2025 at Knox Street Bar (Chippendale), Oxford Art Factory, and the Burdekin Hotel (Darlinghurst), The Musicians Collective will be bringing the diverse talent within the collective to Low 302 this November.

Artists

Erin Badman
Erins musical journey began at 16, singing jazz standards in a smoky bar where she fell in love with emotional storytelling. Rooted in jazz but never confined by it, Erins sound has evolved into a captivating blend of folk, neo-soul, and jazz drawing comparisons to Moses Sumney and Lianne La Havas. Her music is marked by soul-stirring vocals, lyrical intimacy, and a deep commitment to emotional truth, inviting listeners on a journey of reflection, self-discovery, and quiet transformation.

Fetherstone
Fetherstone is the solo project of Central Coast vocalist/composer/producer Briana Cowlishaw, weaving together the intimacy of indie folk storytelling, the soaring vocal textures of dream pop, and beats that range from indie electronica to R&B. With over 15 years of international performance experience as a jazz vocalist, Bri began Fetherstone while living in London in 2016, searching for a more personal and experimental way to write songs beyond genre constraints. Currently working on a new album, she draws inspiration from artists such as Emily King, Billie Eilish, Little Dragon, and the ethereal mantras of vocal group Beautiful Chorus.

SelfDivision
SelfDivision is the moniker of Sydney-based singer, songwriter, and producer Jessica Fitzgibbon. With her haunting voice and hypnotic melodies, she blends electronica and trip-hop, exploring themes that interweave the natural world and human relationships. Comparisons include Portishead, Massive Attack, and Bjork. A classically trained vocalist and musician, Jessicas journey spans genres from classical and opera to alternative rock and jazz, with eclectic influences including Radiohead, Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, and FKA Twigs.

Jessica Tori
After touring and collaborating with electronic artists including Rufus Du Sol, Toucan, Makaw, Chores, Mark with a K, and Xillions, Jessica Tori explores a new intimate sonic landscape. Her music focuses on simple stories and messy truths, reflecting what it means to grow up and grow into yourself.
