With 3 singles out in 2025, Call my Own is The Refuge's heaviest yet, sounding like the lovechild of Soundgarden and Queens of the Stone age, the band meld a riff-after-riff onslaught. The songs lyrics centre around the environmental impacts of large corporations are imposing on the earth, as well as imaging a dystopian world 100 years in the future that could very much become real if action isn't taken now...
