Graduating from high school up-and-comers to prominent indie rockers with their debut Minivan EP, The Rions' 2024 follow-up Happiness In A Place It Shouldnt Be debuted at #4 on the ARIA Top Australian Albums Chart, with acclaimed singles Passionfruit and Physical Medicine cracking triple js Hottest 100 of 2024 marking the bands fourth consecutive year of Hottest 100 appearances.
Outside the studio, the four-piece have established themselves one of the countrys most prolific live acts: completely selling out their Sweet Cocoon Tour early in the year, their 21-date Happiness In Places EP Tour to close out 2024 was their biggest yet. Showing no signs of slowing down, The Rions have also just been announced on the Spilt Milk festival line-up alongside Kendrick Lamar, Doechii and more, heading to Ballarat, Perth, Canberra and Gold Coast this December.
