Thee Cha Cha Chas are returning from a year of playing across Europe to launch their debut LP Temple Of Mirth on Friday 24th of October at The Tote.

With support by Jungle Jim Smith, Stu Manchu & His Chosen Few and PBS FMs finest, DJ Twistin Fever!!

Temple of Mirth has been well received by European audiences and is now in its second vinyl pressing. It was featured on Spanish national radio, Radio 3 as their Outstanding Album.

I was so happily surprised to hear this debut record of THEE CHA CHA CHAS. They are breathing fresh air into the carcass that is Rock n Roll. I hear the essential echoes of Dead Moon, The Velvet Underground and just plain good ass-shaking r nr. The sounds they have achieved is just the right amount of grit, not too overly Lo-Fi, and wonderful unexpected twists and turns that should have every needle on every record player happily doing its job. Thee Cha Cha Chas have excavated the tomb of rock n roll and found the gem hidden in its still beating heart. - King Khan

Long tall guitar slinger from Naarm, Stu Manchu has been ham-fistedly bashing six strings like they owe him money for two decades. Joined by rhythm section of Wesley and Ando, together the three combine their love of garage, country, swamp, glam and pop!

Armed with a 3-string cigar box guitar, trusty 6-string, and shed-built foot drums, Jungle Jim Smith is a one-man-blues-band with a rocknroll heart. Delivered with a raw croon, he blends dirty blues and swamp boogie that pumps with rockabilly grit, forging a full-band sound uniquely his own.

DJ Twistin Fever will be spinning the wildest in rhythm and blues, rockabilly, exotica, doo-wop, sleazy shakers and oddball records!
