House to Grow invites you to join us at our Hidden Stories: Faces of our Community initiative. A Multicultural Photography Exhibition where we celebrate diversity, art, and culture. We will feature Victor Valdes, one of Australia's leading world music artists. This virtuoso Mexican harpist, singer, and dancer has redefined the harp as a solo and lead instrument.

Victor Valdes' powerful, compelling voice, magical harp and passion for storytelling will take you on a unique sonorous journey through the many emotions of the Latin American musical landscape.

Victor Valdes is a walking encyclopedia of Latin music past and present. His powerful, compelling voice and passion for storytelling takes audiences on a sonorous journey through the many emotions of Mexico & the Latin American musical landscape. He has given concerts in over 25 countries of 4 continents around the world.

He's shared the stage with everyone from Angus & Julia, Stone, Aloe Blacc, to Los Lobos, Mirusia, Jimmy Barnes, and The Wiggles. Valdes has appeared on folk, world music, rock, and blues festival stages Australia-wide and was named Directors choice at Bluesfest.

Hosted at the historic Harold Park Community Hall (TramSheds) with free parking.

Our puppet show will captivate young minds with a powerful, educational story that celebrates differences and teaches fundamental values of empathy, understanding, and respect. Inspired by puppetry experts who believe in using performance as a tool for social learning, our show will create a safe, imaginative space where children can explore concepts of inclusion and diversity through the magic of storytelling. Cultural workshops for children and multicultural art activities will be part of our kids' activities developing emotional intelligence, and promoting cultural diversity.
