Harry Chamberlain - After 1 year of studying Diploma of Contemporary Music and now in his final semester of Bachelor of Contemporary Music, Harry Chamberlain takes the main stage of the Rosemount Hotel with a cracking band to showcase his studies and skills for a Contemporary Graduation Recital. Ranging from genres such as Jazz Fusion to Rap, Funk, Rock, and Progressive Metal whilst also embedding electronic samples within and inspired by drummers such as Dave Weckl, Will Kennedy, Steve Gadd, Bernard Purdie, and Chris Allison. This will be a monumental event to experience for ONE NIGHT ONLY.
Marcus Bailey - From the depths of WAAPA emerges a man with a dream, a man with a passion of the drums. In order to fulfill this dream he assembled the finest musicians in Perth. With Jasper Lambert on keys, Luke Stephenson on bass, Brandon Riganello and Neil Marantan on guitar, his mission shall not fail. Devising a fully original instrumental set, he sets out to do the impossible on the biggest stage. Impossible time signatures, unusual melodies and coordination like no other, he has set the bar of the highest standard. As he combines all his favourite genres of fusion, jazz, Latin and funk, he has created a show like no other. He is man of discipline, focus and sheer will. That man's name is Marcus Bailey.
Hannah Reader - Inspired by a continuously growing range of genres and artists, Hannah Reader is honoured to present the culmination of the last four years in her graduation recital. Music has always been a part of Hannahs life. Being immersed from a young age with her familys love for music has allowed Hannah to grow and experiment with her own musical style. Drawing influence from artists such as Raye, Remi Wolf and Lola Young, Hannahs recital promises groovy and dynamic arrangements as well as heartfelt original music, incorporating a mix of RnB, pop rock and funk to showcase her own experiences. Hannah is extremely grateful and excited to share her final WAAPA performance surrounded by those who have shaped her musical journey.
Emily Isles - Emily Isles is the Perth Pop Princess you have been missing. A Fangirls Guide to Becoming a Popstar is a Graduation Recital celebrating what it is to live out your childhood dreams and all the trials and tribulations that follow it. Emily has curated a theatrical show exploring how fan behaviour has led her to where she stands now as a Queer Pop Vocalist including original tunes, and some well-known covers, sharing with us how complicated artistry can be. This show pulls musical inspiration from artists such as Chappell Roan, Harry Styles, Lady Gaga and Olivia Rodrigo who have mostly been the soundtrack of her life so far. So if you too want to relive your glory days as a teenager in your bedroom, singing out your feelings then this is the show for you.
