The Iron-Fisted Overlords of Thrash Metal, WARBRINGER, is gearing up to tear through Australia with a highly anticipated national tour in April 2026! The American thrash metal titans will hit Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, and Sydney, bringing their signature blend of high-speed intensity and relentless energy to Australian fans.
The group will be joined on all dates by Sydneys own death metal powerhouse, ANOXIA, who are primed to unleash a relentless, skull-crushing onslaught of sound. With their brutal, guttural style, ANOXIA pays tribute to the genres legends like Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, and Death, delivering an unforgiving, headbanging maelstrom that will leave fans in a state of total annihilation. Their explosive performance will only serve to elevate the chaos, ensuring that each show becomes a relentless barrage of death metal fury from start to finish.
Warbringers journey has been nothing short of legendary since their international debut on Century Media Records in 2008 with their groundbreaking album War Without End. Over the years, the band has become a mainstay of the thrash metal scene, holding high the banner of 80s-inspired speed and ferocity while blending in influences from 90s death and black metal, and adding a progressive, technical edge for that precise, surgical attack.

Warbringer's seventh studio album, Wrath and Ruin, dropped in March 2025 via Napalm Records. This album promises to be another ferocious addition to their discography, pushing their aggressive sound to new heights with greater precision, technicality, and intensity. The first single, "A Better World," along with its music video, was released on January 7th, followed by additional singles and videos like Through A Glass, Darkly and The Sword and The Cross. These releases sparked a wave of excitement in the global heavy metal community, helping the band secure tours in support of the album.
The bands worldwide campaign is already underway, with a South American and Mexican tour in December, U.S. and Canadian dates in March and April, and a European tour alongside Decapitated and Cryptopsy in May and June 2025.
