ROSEMOUNT HOTEL TO HOST AN EVENING OF RAW, LOUD AND LOCAL MUSIC
Wedgefest returns this September for its third annual instalment, cementing its status as one of Western Australias essential gatherings for fans of heavy, alternative, and underground sounds. Taking over the Rosemount Hotel on Saturday September 13, Wedgefest 2025 delivers a lineup packed with some of WAs most compelling acts across the spectrum of heavy and experimental music.
Headlining this years event are GUILD, the heavy psychedelic rock quintet formerly known as The Wedges. Combining fuzzy guitars, punchy basslines, atmospheric synths, and enchanting vocals, Guilds set at Wedgefest 2025 will mark the highly anticipated launch of their debut album Reign.
Joining them are RATKING, the globe-trotting hardcore outfit known for infusing their furious sound with a twist of surf, and BANISHED REALM, purveyors of epic death- doom dirges that weave together sombre melodies and crushing heaviness.
Adding to the festivals diverse lineup is SPACERHEAD, bringing their brand of blistering post-punk noise to the stage, CHIP HAZARD, the atmospheric solo project of Perth guitarist Chris Young (known for his work with alternative psych titans Psychedelic Porn Crumpets) who will be performing with a full band to bring his experimental sounds to life.
Rounding out the lineup are SOULLESS CITY, a dynamic four-piece rock band blending influences from across the rock spectrum into powerful, genre-blurring anthems.
Wedgefest remains dedicated to championing West Australian talent, offering a diverse snapshot of the states vibrant heavy and alternative music scene.
